Our story:  In 2013 Jessica and I went on a short-term service trip to Haiti. We were deeply inspired by the many examples of courage, love, passion, and strength that we encountered. We saw countless examples of God moving in the lives of children and families. Shortly after we got back, we met more families in the community. We knew that we wanted to help; we just didn’t know where to start. So we prayed, we reflected, and we asked our friends in Haiti “What can we do to help?”

This “ask” laid the foundation for what Sant Espwa is. It is a commitment to walking alongside children, families, and communities, loving each person we encounter and being a vessel to their needs. When we asked what we could do to help – we were told clearly, and in many different ways, to help put children through school as they are the future of Haiti. As we continue to grow, we have established many great partnerships with local organizations & local Haitians, to help lead Sant Espwa. We are so thankful for the friends that have turned into family.
